Celeste Gurule

Board Member and Consultant

Celeste A. Gurulé graduated from the University of California at Berkeley in 1987 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Economics. That same year Celeste joined California Fringe Benefit (CFB), an affiliate of Lincoln Financial Advisors, as an advisor in the healthcare 403(b) marketplace. In 1991, Celeste earned her CFP® certification.

Celeste began her transition from advising to leadership in 1994 when she was appointed the Executive Vice President of Client Relations and Development for California Fringe Benefit and then the President of CFB on January 1, 2000.

On April 1, 2006, Celeste took on a national role with Lincoln Financial Group when she became the Managing Director of Financial Professionals Group. In this role, Celeste led approximately 200 advisors who served the employer-sponsored retirement plan marketplace. After 34 years, Celeste retired from Lincoln on December 31, 2021, and started a consulting practice to continue to help advisors and organizations grow and become the best versions of themselves. Today Celeste serves as a Board member and consultant to the newly formed Momentum Value Partners (previously CFB) returning to where she started her career and where her heart remains. 

Celeste and her husband, Jim, live in Danville, California and have two grown children, Anthony and Julia, and will soon become grandparents.
